My Top Fundraisers
Welcome! I'm so happy to share with you a few pretty simple ways to raise money for your club, non-profit, team, adoption, family and more. I was never one to be in to fundraisers and even with my kids school fundraisers I would rather just send some money to the school over dealing with all the fundraising. However, a few years back started on a journey to adopt 2 kids from Haiti. It wasn't cheap and in the process we were scammed by the facilitator which cost us thousands more than we were expecting and added years to our wait. It was a rough few years but I was able to bring my kids home in the summer of 2014. It never would have happened with fundraising and those who were willing to help us through it. Since then I have worked with hundreds of families on their Haiti adoption journey and that's what prompted me to reach out to help others with their fundraising.
Below I've listed the fundraisers that either I or my adopting friends have had the most success with. If you want more details on any of them or need help getting started just use the contact link below and I'll be happy to connect with you.
Hope this helps!

Apparent Project
Apparent project is based out of Haiti but tons of families across the US have sold their bracelets and necklaces as a way to raise funds as well as help support families in Haiti where jobs are scarce. Many of the families in our Haiti adopting group have pretty easily raised hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Online Shopping
I recently started shopping with an online company that has been in business for over 30 years that sells non-toxic house cleaning products as well as hygiene items and health and wellness products. A great way to raise money is to share about these products and their online shopping accounts (which I can help with via live webcasts or sharing recorded videos) and explain to supporters that by simply taking the budget they typically spend at places like WalMart or Target for products they already use like household cleaners, hygiene items and vitamins and using that budget to buy the same type of products online that they can help you raise your necessary funds without it costing them extra money. In the past few months I have helped several families raise money for their adoptions online shopping accounts. What I love most about shopping online is the money I save by staying out of the retail stores (because if I'm not in a store I'm not buying stuff I don't need) plus I love that the products are safe for my kids to use and pets to be around.
If those wanting to support you set up a shopping account then you will get earn a % of that. If you are a shopper yourself then your shoppers would simply be connected to you and you were earn that money directly. Your shoppers can also be connected to me and then I would send you the money raised from those accounts. Non-profits are also able to set up accounts and shoppers can be connected to their account and the money would be sent directly to them. I've raise almost $1000 in 2 months, several friends raised $1800-$2700 and a local pastor's wife made over $6000 last month.
This is a great long term or monthly support type of fundraiser. We are launching this to help fund the volunteers that run our Haiti scholarship program. We have over 700 students we have sponsors for in Haiti and we have never taken any money from the scholarships to pay for flights, transportation or lodging to run the program. It's always been something we've paid for ourselves but we have people who want to help the program continue and this has been a way for them to support us monthly without it costing them extra money.

Envelope Fundraiser
This has been a great fundraiser for many of the adopting families as well as several youth groups I know.
Basically you number envelopes #1-#150. The number on the envelope = the amount of money to be donated in that envelope.
How do people get their envelopes? It depends on if you have a more of a live audience (like a community center or church) or more of an online audience. You can physically display these envelopes somewhere or put the information online and people can request a random envelope be sent to them or equest a range like numbers 10-20 or 50-60 or something like that they can request a specific envelope number. You can also create a digital picture to post online. Even better is doing both. Display a real envelope wall and take pictures of it for social media postings.
Let people know they can donate the money as an individual or get a group to join together if all the smaller amounts are already claimed.
This is a great fundraiser to try to raise a large chunk of money. If you are able to get all 150 envelopes claimed, you’ll raise over $11,000!!!
